5 Days and Counting!!

Well, we're now at the end of pregnancy and awaiting the arrival of our little one. He is going to be coming a little earlier than expected because he has not turned and continues to stay in the breach position. This and the fact that my feet and legs are VERY swollen each day is a good reason to take him before I go into natural labor.
He should be here on Saturday and we'll be sure to post some pictures of him as soon as we can. No, we still haven't decided on a name, but hopefully he'll have one before we leave the hospital. Keep us in your thoughts this Saturday for a painless and speedy delivery/recovery.

First time blogging

My good friend Autumn told me that I should start blogging to keep our long-distance friends up to date with our family. I'm sure that once we have "Baby" Grigsby our time will be much more limited - hopefully I'll still have time to update our blog. We hope that you enjoy!!

So far I am 26 weeks along and everything is going well. According to my books he is about 13 inches long and weighs almost a pound and a half. He moves constantly - Adam has even seen him push up on my stomach with his arm or leg (at this point, I can't see the bottom of my belly anymore).

We're in the process of organizing the nursery, my dad just came to visit and put in a new closet complete with a closet organizer - it is GREAT! We've been fortunate enough to inherit baby items from our friends and family so this little guy will be set with clothes when he arrives.

Adam and I are excited for this September and can't wait to introduce our new bundle of joy to all of you. We'll keep you posted!
